Membership in HKN allows you to network with other members in corporations, universities, and government.
It also allows you to form long-term relationships with your active chapter members.
Socials
Barbecues, Bowling, and even more than you can think of.
And we do mean you specifically, because you can suggest socials, or become an officer and host one yourself!
Here's what it takes to be one of the best...
Class Standing
Seniors: top 1/3rd of class
Juniors: top 1/4th of class
Participate in three hours of community service and/or tutoring
Enhance our club in a three hour project
Fundraise with one project of your choice:
Sell water at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers home game
Sell candy on your own time
Plan and execute your own fundraiser
Attend one social
Have all officers and two faculty members sign membership endorsement form
The faculty members should be from the Electrical and/or Computer Engineering departments.
Attend every initiates' meeting
Contact an officer to excuse yourself from a maximum of one meeting.
Pay membership fee of $75
Fee includes one year's subscription to The Bridge, our magazine.
Donate to test bank one Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering course test
Must attend the initiation ceremony
